About the package

We were the first travel agency in the Czech Republic to organize a large sightseeing tour of Iran in 1998. Although it was a step into the unknown, without manuals, guides, Internet wisdom and pictorial documentation, we relied on our Iranian colleague, with whom we still work today, and decided on a bold plan, which included western Iran, among others. This is because the vast majority of tourists gravitate to the classic north-south route and usually skip the west. It is a pity, because the road leads through a beautiful landscape, in which many monuments of extraordinary importance protected by UNESCO have found their place, whether it is the famous Behistun inscription or the mysterious ziggurat Choga Zanbil, the only magnificent building of the defunct Elam empire. If you are one of those who have been to Iran and have not seen these parts of the vast country, join us. We are sure that you will always discover something you don't know yet.

Reviews

Iran had long been on my husband's bucket list. He had dreamt about a country whose history and realities he knew only from books but he wished to see it with his own eyes so I decided to make that dream come true for him. I stumbled upon Palmyra Tour by accident but as I started to communicate with them I knew turning to them was the best decision. Altough our itinerary was packed everything went smoothly with unseen precision and emphasis on the experience. I could tell Mrs. & Mr. Hassan had put a lot of effort into organization of the trip and it showed... the accommodation was perfect wherever we went, ocal guides were absolutely excellent and they explained everything with great detail and with context. To sum it up our dream really became a reality and we managed to witness Iran's beauty. This incredible country will always stay in our hearts and for that we are thankful to Palmyra Tour.
