About the package

This one is quite an unusual tour combining the pinacles of two completely different worlds - the skyscrapers of Dubai and the pyramids of Sudan - also known as the Land of Black Pharohs. During this trip you will enjoy panaromatic view of the Meroe pyramids right from your hotel and also views from the heighest building of the world The Burj Khalifa in Dubai. Your accommodation in UAE will be right next the tower. 1st day:	Departure from Prague airport, arrival to Dubai, hotel transfect and overnight
2nd day:	Breakfast followed by some spare time for you and an excursion of the world's highest building the Burj Khalifa. You may also take a guided tour of Dubai. Later in the afternoon you will be transfered to Dubai airport where you will depart for Khartoum (capital of Sudan). After arrival to the capital you will be transfered to your hotel for overnight. The hotel is 3 stars but we may upgrade you for a 5 star should you wish.
3rd day:	Breakfast followed by a quick tour of Khartoum. The tour begins by an excursion of the Archeological Museum which is home to two beautiful UNESCO protected temples from the area of Nasir lake. Afterwards you will be transferred through the confluence of the White and Blue Nile rivers to the presidential palace where an important historical event took place back in 1885. The programme than continues in the former Sudanese Capital Omdurman wher you may see the Mahdi Tomb and the Khalifa Museum. Around noon we will move to the Meroe desert area which is covered by beautiful granite stone formations around the 6th cataract. The more remote areas of the desert are covered with acacia trees, camels and offer amazing views of the 40 pyramids of the royal necropolis. In the end of day you will be served dinner and a fully equipped tent in a local base camp with all the necessary facilities.
4th day:	Breakfast followed by a transfer to the royal necropolis where hilltops are covered under golden sand dunes. Some of the local pyramids are characteristic for their edgy shapes and each of them has its own burial temple with basreliefs and scenes of king's life and gods' sacrifices. Lunch in the Meroe camp. Afternoon drive to ruins of the former royal city where archeological excavation prove the immense area this city once covered. Here we will make an excursion of the Amon's Temple, local Spa with elements of the ancient Rome and later come back to our camp for dinner and overnight.
5th day:	Breakfast and transfer to Naqa which lies about 30km south of the Nile river and which used to be of the two main center of the Meroe era. Excursion of the Apedemak Temple (1 AD) which in the Kushit era replaced god Amon. It is decorated with frescos, basreliefs and ritual scenes. Few steps away we will find a small pavilion decorated with slopes and arches with Roman, Greek and Egyptian elements. Afterwards we shall move to theMusawwarat valley where you will see the remains of a gigantic temple from 1AD. Subsequently we will inspect the Apedamak temple which was renovated by German archeologists. Lunch picnic in the nature, return to Khartoum for short rest and transfer to airport for our flight back to Prague.
6th day:	early morning arrival to Dubai followed by a connecting flight to Prague. Should you wish it is possible to extend your holiday with a stay in the UAE.
