The Kempinski Ishtar Dead Sea Hotel is a pleasant half-hour drive from Amman Airport. It is exciting to see the picturesque landscape slope below the sea level as you travel. On the Jordanian side of the Dead Sea it then occupies a position at the beginning of the beach zone, where the sea is relatively shallow. Nearby there are the Christian pilgrimage sites of Madaba, Mount Nebo, and Bethany, the biblical site of all Christians' favorite baptism in the Jordan River. The hotel provides transportation to and from Amman 3 times a day for a fee.

Rooms Ishtar Superior are located in a residential area on the ground or first floor. Rooms with a living area on the ground floor have 50 m2 and the terrace has direct access to pool. Rooms on the first floor of 40 m2 have a spacious balcony with beautiful sea views. Guests are provided with complimentary newspapers and a complimentary minibar including soft drinks, beer, water and fruit. Free high-speed internet is also provided, and the dark gray stone bathroom includes luxury cosmetics, a separate bathtub and shower. This room type can accommodate up to two adults and one child under 11 years without extra bed or with an extra bed at an additional cost.
