An older hotel of a reliable global brand will meet all that is expected of it. Once you enter the hotel you will like the spectacular lobby inspired by the tradition of the Emir's palaces. Another highlight is hotel's the beach with beautiful greenery. In 2014 the hotel's Thai restaurant was declared one of the hundred best restaurants in the world. The hotel will be appreciated by golfers because the golf club is very close. Women will enjoy the neighborhood of a large shopping center. The hotel has a total of 288 rooms and suites, all with balconies and most with sea views. The complex has a residential villa area with two swimming pools and a private beach, where guests can shortly rent two- to four-bedroom villas with a fully equipped kitchen and their own butler. All guests can stroll on a private beach, dip into a large outdoor pool (not heated), swim through a 25-meter indoor pool with a spa center, unwing in a café or splash out in some of the two bars and three themed restaurants.

It's been only a few hours since our arrival from Qatar and the UAE. I would like to thank you on behalf of our family for the exquisite level of service. Everything was perfectly organised and prepared. We didn't encounter a single issue. The Banana Island Resort was flawless and its services were on really high level - I would give it 6 stars if I could. We felt really good there and now we regret that we didn't prolong our staythere. The resort was beautiful and so kid friendly! Thank you so much for the resort recommendation and organisation of our vacation!! To be absolutely honest there was only one slight disapointment and that was our hotel in Ajman (UAE). Comparing it to the Banana Island we felt the employees' approach was not that good but that's not your fault. It iritated us when they would try to make up ou beds at 7 o'clock in the morning etc. For that reason we wouldn't stay there again. Last but not least my wife was very touched by the flowers and welcome message you prepared upon our arrival to Dubai. Overall the vacation was great and despite the negatives in Fairmont Hotel we are taking away only memories.
In future we will be glad to use your services again.

The hotel has found its place at the end of the West Bay coast where the mainland connects to the so-called Pearl Island. The hotel is 20 kilometers away from Doha Airport and downtown, while the nearby golf club is just a 3-minute drive away. The large Lagoon Mall is located next to the hotel.

The Grand Sea View Room is the same size as the basic room. The difference is that the balcony has beautiful views of the sea. Free internet is available in the Club rooms, which are more expensive and located on the top floors with the best view. A third adult is only allowed in the suite.
